Folar de massa de pão

Sendo este dia 1 tão perto do domingo de Pascoa, o grupo "Dia Um... Na Cozinha!" decidiu e muito bem que o tema deste mês seria "folares".
Na altura pensei em que receita de folar iria eu alterar para fazer uma versão mais light, mas depois em conversa com uma colega minha, disse-me que o costume da terra dela (Évora) era fazer folares em forma de lagarto, achei a ideia tão engraçada que ela ligou á mãe para lhe pedir a receita. Quando vi a receita disse logo que não iria fazer aqueles folares, pois pareciam dar muito trabalho, mas depois analisando bem, realmente não dão assim tanto trabalho, são morosos isso sim, mas trabalhosos não, e assim pus mãos na massa.
Ainda bem que os fiz, porque mal dei a primeira dentada lembrei-me dos folares da minha avó, liguei á minha mãe a perguntar se ela sabia a receita e confirmei que era a mesma.......
Que delicia, e que lembranças agradáveis junto da minha avó, a querer ajudar a amassar num alguidar de barro enorme, ficar toda enfarinhada, comer a massa crua..... e que bom poder proporcionar o mesmo á minha pequena Inês, pois, é que também ela quis meter as mãos na massa :-D




850 gr massa de pão (eu fiz a massa de pão da receita do livro base da bimby, mas podem comprar a massa já feita)
1700 gr farinha
750 gr açúcar
300 gr banha (derretida)
1 c (sopa) canela pó
1 c (sopa) erva doce moída)
raspa 2 limões
Chá (1 pau de canela e erva doce ou aniz estrelado) qb
Juntar todos os ingredientes, o chá vai-se juntando aos poucos e amassar até ficar tudo muito bem ligado. Deve ficar uma massa tipo pão.
Deixar levedar até dobrar de volume (eu enrolei o alguidar num cobertor e icou cerca de 2 h)
Dividir a massa em 4 (ou mais se quiser folares mais pequenos) e numa superfície enfarinhada, amassar um pouco mais para retirar o ar, colocar em tachos ou formas untadas com banha. Pincelar com ovo e levar ao forno bem quente (180º) cerca de 90 min

Claro que também quis fazer um folar em forma de lagarto e acho que para a primeira vez até me safei muito bem :-)














Esta quantidade dá para 4 folares com cerca de 1kg cada.

    The Portuguese are anti-Spanish, anti-Angola, anti-Mozambique and anti-Brasil racists! Say NO to Portuguese XENOPHOBES everywhere on the planet! DON'T do business with them in any way, shape, or form!

    In addition, a respected British journalist recently stated,"The Portuguese economy is in the toilet, and droves of it's citizens are fleeing to neighboring Spain to work just to put food on the table! Those who don't go to Spain are swimming, or jumping on bannana boats to go to Angola or Mozambique just to sell their body for cod to feed their families. The slightly better off portugee are flying to Brasil to live in a favela that is much better than the poor, decrepid conditions they live in now; at least here they can eat.
